connection

It is late however I couldn't help but share a few words of gratitude for today's beauty.

I spent a lovely amount of time at Homegrown Herb and Tea talking about the up coming polarity cleanse which is scheduled for the end of January. She has generously agreed to be a supportive force in creating our detox teas specifically for each person and evolve with them as they go through the cleanse process. It feels so good knowing that each person will be so thoughtfully cared for.
Sarah is real and present. Her tea is made with you in mind each and every time. There is an overall sense of ease when I go to the shop. The pace and timing that go along with having a special blend made and brewed is a wonderful refreshing experience. No hustle and bustle. There is eye contact. Life experiences shared. Treat yourself to tea with Sarah.

Thank you Sarah.

I also want to share my heart felt gratitude for this last hour which I spent talking with Rebecca Thompson who is the founder of the Consciously Parenting Project. I love when i have those experiences where it isn't so much the content as much as the essence of the connection that makes the experience meaningful. Tonight we talked about wonderfully important content. I have much work to do for the web-site and the collective now! and, and.. What I am most aware of is how my whole being is made more soft, open, reverent, and grateful just from an hour in her presence. There is a Truth that resonates beyond words into the core of my energetic being and again breathes life into the words from a whole new place. This is conscious connection. This is true.

I feel honored to have connected with Rebecca and I invite you to spend time on her web-site. She has tons of great resources and a really great store where she has consciously gathered books she stands behind.

Thank you Rebecca.

Another wonderful day at the collective office

Spent a wonderful day working on the calendar for the web-site, such great stuff to create together.
I am getting excited about the polarity cleanse. I am in process with Richmond Sauna for our celebration and with the owner of a tea shop in Portland for our detox tea. I also started a list of places and people to let know about this great cleanse. Please help us to spread the word.

Joy at game and movie night 11-21-08

Our first Friday game & movie night was a wonderful success. We gathered around 8:00p.m. and the adults watched Martin Child and the kids watched Mickey Mouse. There was an abundance of popcorn and movie related paraphernalia.
In the adult viewing section we used Dazza's huge t.v. with a dvd/vcr set-up lovingly loaned to us by Eric. The room was set-up with two beds, tons of pillows and a mountain of blankets. Zimmy, the house bear, and Bunny were also in the adult section.
As the movie ended we were invaded by the little ones who yelled protests about bed-time and pleas to join in the fun. We surrendered and found to our delight ourselves being read to about Tree House tales and then a magical musical about the turkey tango unfolding before our eyes. This caused us all to laugh until it hurt. One of the actors started to get a bit too boisterous so mom quickly diverted the show to the bathroom for teeth brushing and night time potty duties. After a misunderstanding and a quick meltdown, we settled on one game of UNO and an end to our amazing movie night.
Jude, Dazza, and Lea played while Judith watched in support. After many oscillating rounds of play and after Dazza attempted to win by acquiring all of the cards, Jude reigned supreme by bolding calling UNO and winning the game by laying down a red 7 onto the standing green 7. How wonderful!!
Thank you to all who are part of bring form to the Awake Collective.
